The Caro string quartet were founded in 2008 and specialise in tango and world music for concerts and classical and pop repertoire for functions. They are inspired by the Brodsky and Kronos String Quartets as well as a large range of genres including folk music, jazz, contemporary music and soul.
 

The players have come from various backgrounds. All are trained in classical music but now perform in the tango, classical, contemporary, jazz, hiphop and French chanson circuits.
