Classic Fairytale Chateau near Vichy
Description
A classic fairytale château that really did belong to a princess !
Today, this former royal hunting lodge is an events only venue and the perfect location for a dream wedding. The château is rented as a whole, with all the reception rooms and bedrooms included, meaning that the entire chateau is yours for the week-end !
The 21 bedrooms/suites/apartments, all with private bathrooms, sleep 54 people and in addition there are 10 folding beds that can be added in to the rooms. Should further accommodation be required, there are B and B’s close-by and a lot of accommodation in Vichy which is only a 15 minute drive.
Together with the custom made marquee extension, the magnificent oak-panelled « grande salle » can seat up to 100 people for a seated dinner and still leave space for a dancefloor to party the night away. For smaller groups, the « grande salle » on it’s own can seat up to 80 people.
Benefiting from stunning views, the outside spaces are unbeatable. The large terrace with swimming pool is perfect for the wedding cocktail but also for informal dinners, brunches and relaxing around the pool the day before and after the wedding. The pergola in the park is just one of the many options for a wedding ceremony and provides an original and practical structure with views over the lake.
A fully serviced breakfast can be provided for all the guests staying at the château. Leisure facilities include an outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, sauna, ping-pong, table football as well as a large park and many different cosy spaces to relax.
Conscious that it can be complicated for non-French speakers to organise a wedding in France, the owners can help you plan, and also organise the catering and other services on your behalf. There is also 24 hour on-site presence and support to make sure your event runs smoothly and you, your guests and your suppliers have everything they need.
Located in the Auvergne, between Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand.
