For your wedding breakfast, you can have a dinner al-fresco in the grounds with long wooden tables (you are welcome to hire a marquee or stretch tent if you wish) and beautiful floristry and decorations or you can use the extensive events barn which is a simply beautiful space and combines wedding luxury with rural rustic French style. ACCOMMODATION The venue also provides excellent accommodation for around 30 guests - this is again flexible and can be adapted to different guest configurations. In the manor itself, there are six double bedrooms, one twin bedroom as well as a large space on the top floor which can be used as a games room or as a space for additional beds for older children or groups of friends. There is then the separate luxury gite which has three double bedrooms as well as two landing/lounge areas which have two extra double fold-out beds available to use. Additional beds and cots can also be provided on request. Both the manor and the gite have large living areas and kitchens. CONTINUE THE CELEBRATIONS The estate ensures that there is plenty to do and enjoy during your stay. There is a large swimming pool (6m x 12m) looking out over the grounds, this includes a large terraced area with plenty of deckchairs and outdoor seating, making it ideal for a pool-party or BBQ. The pool is enclosed to ensure the safety of younger guests. There is also hard-standing and power points for food trucks to come and cater for your stay. There is also a hot tub and a 6m x 3m marquee which can be set up for catering. Other features and facilities include a ping pong table, festoon lighting, a large ancient wagon (often used for drinks or a decorative centrepiece), large barrels, hammocks, butcher's bike, campfires, parasols, screen and projector and a PA system. GETTING HERE The best of both worlds, the estate is very secluded but can also be easily accessed by road (with taxis readily available) and the nearest main train station is just ten minutes away. Several main airports are within easy reach, making it an excellent choice. There is also plenty to do in the local area with gorgeous scenery for canoeing, kayaking, hiking and more as well as plenty of beautiful historic towns and Chateaux just a few minutes away. Choose their experienced wedding planner to take the reins while you relax, or you are welcome to choose your own planner or coordinator if you prefer. You are also welcome to DIY any elements you choose and can plan your own day if you would like. Whichever path you choose, the expert team will be on hand to offer support and guidance every step of the way. This flexibility means that the estate is suited to a wide range of budgets and styles, meaning that each wedding is completely bespoke and you can make your day unique to you as a couple. Outside, there are numerous options for your celebration. For your wedding ceremony, you may choose a natural backdrop of hills and woodland sweeping across the valley below or you may prefer to use the grand, centuries-old barn as a rustic centre-piece with its magnificent doors. Enjoy a drinks reception in the extensive grounds and gardens, surrounded by vines, apple trees and flowers. For your wedding breakfast, you can have a dinner al-fresco in the grounds with long wooden tables (you are welcome to hire a marquee or stretch tent if you wish) and beautiful floristry and decorations or you can use the extensive events barn which is a simply beautiful space and combines wedding luxury with rural rustic French style. Chandeliers and ancient beams create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for you and your guests. At night, the space can be transformed into a dancefloor for your band and DJ. You are also welcome to continue your celebrations outside into the evening, given the secluded nature of the venue. ACCOMMODATION The venue also provides excellent accommodation for around 30 guests - this is again flexible and can be adapted to different guest configurations. In the manor itself, there are six double bedrooms, one twin bedroom as well as a large space on the top floor which can be used as a games room or as a space for additional beds for older children or groups of friends. There is then the separate luxury gite which has three double bedrooms as well as two landing/lounge areas which have two extra double fold-out beds available to use. Additional beds and cots can also be provided on request. Both the manor and the gite have large living areas and kitchens. CONTINUE THE CELEBRATIONS The estate ensures that there is plenty to do and enjoy during your stay. There is a large swimming pool (6m x 12m) looking out over the grounds, this includes a large terraced area with plenty of deckchairs and outdoor seating, making it ideal for a pool-party or BBQ. The pool is enclosed to ensure the safety of younger guests. There is also hard-standing and power points for food trucks to come and cater for your stay. There is also a hot tub and a 6m x 3m marquee which can be set up for catering. Other features and facilities include a ping pong table, festoon lighting, a large ancient wagon (often used for drinks or a decorative centrepiece), large barrels, hammocks, butcher's bike, campfires, parasols, screen and projector and a PA system. GETTING HERE The best of both worlds, the estate is very secluded but can also be easily accessed by road (with taxis readily available) and the nearest main train station is just ten minutes away. Several main airports are within easy reach, making it an excellent choice. There is also plenty to do in the local area with gorgeous scenery for canoeing, kayaking, hiking and more as well as plenty of beautiful historic towns and Chateaux just a few minutes away. We turn up a few hours before the guests and do a quick sound check, then we sneak off and get changed into the same uniform as the other waiters. We then go undercover, pretending to be waiters! We pour wine, hand out canapes, we have even been known to run a gin bar and a cocktail bar! All the time the unsuspecting guests think we are waiters. We get to know the big personalities that are at the event, we can be a bit cheeky with the boys and a little bit flirty with the girls (who doesn’t love a French waiter!?) and after several hours of undercover work, we work with the person who books us to spring our surprise! We walk across the room with a champagne bucket and pretend to fall over – there are always lots of oohhh’s and aaarrrggghs and cheers (people can be so cruel ha ha) and then we jump up, say a few words, the music starts and we start singing (I don’t want to spoil the surprise too much but you get the idea right?
